These are the forum rules. If you don't follow them, you will receive a warning that will be in your forum record for six months. Any member with five warnings will be banned.

- This forum is meant as a friendly forum. Please treat the other members with respect and refrain from openly insulting them. If you reproach them something, state it clearly or don't say anything. Generic insults that have nothing to do with anything won't be tolerated.
Remember that the staff are people too. If you send a PM to a moderator or to the administrator, please remember to stay polite and explain what your problem or concern is.

- This is a literary forum, and for that reason spelling and grammar are important. Don't talk as though you were writing a text message on your cellphone, there is no character limit here, and it's simply rude for the other members. Why should they all take a long time trying to understand what you are saying just because you were too lazy to take that time yourself and type it clearly?
Spelling and grammar mistakes will be pointed out if too numerous or just getting on the grammar nazi's nerves. Don't get annoyed with them, they have our support.
If you have problems with spelling or grammar because of dyslexia or because it's not your first language, don't hesistate to say so. We will help you as much as we can.
Messages that are too hard to read will be corrected in red by the moderators. If the author clearly doesn't try to learn from their mistakes or think they shouldn't bother using a dictionnary because we will be behind to correct them, there will be sanctions.

- Political, religious and other controversial subjects are allowed, but the threads might be closed if they get out of hand. While participating in such a thread, please state your opinion and explain why you do or don't share someone else's opinion. "You're wrong and you'll go to hell" isn't an argument.
You are free to have opinions that you don't find any justification for, but you can't force them on anyone.

- Pornography is prohibited. Swear words or anatomical words are not, however. Stories describing a naked body are perfectly fine, and stories referring to sex without describing it in detail are allowed as well.
Just because swear words are allowed doesn't mean you should use them every two words. Please don't: it makes it hard to read you, and it makes you sound stupid anyways.

More rules might be added and they will take effect as soon as they are available for you to read.
